Braille Slabs

Braille is a system of raised dots that can be read with the fingers by people who are blind or who have low vision. Your students who are not visually impaired ordinarily read braille with their eyes. Braille is not a language. Rather, it is a code by which many languages—such as English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and dozens of others can recognise the same words.

These slabs have been designed with braille on one side and English on the other side. With 20 common phrases used in a lesson each slab is water proof and hard wearing.

Included slabs are:

  • Back float
  • Backstroke
  • Blow bubbles
  • Breaststroke
  • Breaststroke kick
  • Dumbbell
  • Freestyle
  • Front float
  • Go underwater
  • Kickboard
  • Kicking legs pulling arms
  • Noodle
